…agains two days of south wind here in El Medano. Yestarday was really fun in the early morning, I went to the beach at 9 and did surf with Andrea and only others 3 guys…was perfect with slalom and 30 knods!!! We went in upwind near the rocks and then we came back waiting the gust of wind in the downwind and some times down the line also…we went really really fast!!!
In the later morning the wind turned off and everybody went in front of the kite beach doing surf , there was a lot people in the water.
In the afternoon the wind came again. Was pretty nice for the wave riding and I enjoyed with my Evo 80 and 4.7 Swell. I like a lot the Swell sails because in the radical conditiones with strong wind are easy sails. It’s amazing how yestarday we could do everything: slalom, wave and surf…I love this place!

Today was the first d
ay I sailed in Las Americas with west wind. Valter called me in the morning saying the wind has been strong and the waves good. So I was curious and went there with Paolo. The windsurfing spot in Las Americas is La Fitenia,a nice bay very close to a pier, where if you fall inside the wave the current takes you on the pier rocks…it’s hard to go out there but I wanted to try. I took my Swell 4,1 and Evo 80 and I walked down the rocks to enter the water…Enzo helped me holding the sail while I went down.
Just in the water I heaved a sigh and I left without thinking too much…Ismaele and Valter was already behind the swell…I looked forward the waves broken and repeating m
e “I can do it” “I can do it”..I do not know how I can pass those waves,I kept the boom tight and I felt the foam of the wave that moved me back but with my feet I pushed the board to counter it..
…was really…I do not have words to tell but I’m here and this is important!!!
I surf for half an hour, not a lot,but in that condition I did not fell safe and I not enjoyed. When I got out we stayed on the platform watching others and one guy has lost all equipment could end up on the rocks so I decided not to risk even.It was still a nice experience. We came back at Medano beach and Paolo sailed with slalom staff when I took him some pictures.
